Rachel has been singing since she was a child, but began to study singing seriously in 2001. She currently studies with Will Hancox.
From 2005 to 2007 she studied on the Opera Performnce Course at Birkbeck College, London, where she performed excerpts from operas including Cosi fan Tutte, Marriage of Figaro and Rusalka.
She has appeared as the soprano soloist for choirs in Sussex and Kent, in works as varied as Elijah Mendelssohn, Mass in C Beethoven, Little Organ Mass Haydn, Vespers Mozart and Gloria Vivaldi.
Her stage work includes roles in Rhine Fairies Offenbach, Hugh the Drover Vaughan Williams, Mirielle Gounod, and Edgar Puccini, all for New Sussex Opera.
